How trip fuel cost is calculated
Fuel needed equals distance divided by mileage. A 250 km trip in a car returning 18 km/l needs about 13.9 litres; at ₹105 per litre that is roughly ₹1,460. Real consumption varies with traffic, AC use, load and driving style, so treat the result as a close estimate rather than an exact figure.
